    Marshal Michael Clark began working for the Galveston Police Department in 1986 and spent 27 years there until moving in 2013 to accept the position of marshal at Cloverdale.  During his tenure at those departments, he also served as the chairman for the Indiana Marshals’ Association (IMA) Conference Planning Committee, on the Cloverdale Planning and Redevelopment boards, and as Vice-President on the Indiana Minority Health Coalition of Cass County.

    Marshal Clark has enhanced his many years of rural policing experience by completing various programs including the Police Chief Executive Training Program at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and the A.L.I.C.E. course (a Violent Intruder Program where he eventually became a certified instructor), all of which help him keep his community safe.  Marshal Clark enjoys spending time with his family, is actively involved with teens and youth in his community, and takes pride in his local schools and businesses.

    Marshal Clark is also proud to be part of an incredibly noble profession and strives to meet the ever-changing goals of his department and the community.   

    Marshal Clark is Past- President of the Indiana Marshals’ Association and has attained the IMA Master Marshal designation.
